It reacts with amino acids on the skins surface to darken the skin cells it is absorbed by. Instant bronzer is a temporary colorant (like makeup) that sits on top of the skin and washes off.

This facial tanning serum can be used alone or mixed in with your moisturizer to tint it. When using alone, apply to clean, dry skin prior to your skincare. Wait 1-2 minutes to dry before applying moisturizer. Using alone will results in a darker tan.
